Come and DEMO your solution as an Speaker at the AEGLE Conference ‘Demonstrating Results of Big Data initiatives in Healthcare’ on May 17th & 18th 2018 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Abstracts describing your work can be submitted to conference@aegle-uhealth.eu till March 15th 2018 and should be no longer than 300 words.

Abstracts are subject to the following format:

PROBLEM: describe the health problem your solution addresses

SOLUTION: describe the technical solution and how you will present your prototype - e.g. live demo, video or screenshots

SPECIAL CHALLENGE: refer to how you address one of the following common Big Data challenges:

- Legal/ethical issues concerning data

- Measurable impact (i.e. cost-effectiveness) of your solution

- Dataset standardisation

- Usability

Abstracts will be selected based on relevance and quality of the submission. When submitting your abstract please indicate your interest in chairing a session at the conference.

Abstract submission is open to all initiatives that focus on big-data in healthcare, irrespective of their funding or scope. We therefore also invite non-EU and national initiatives to submit their work! 

The authors of the accepted contributions are invited to submit a full paper before June 15th 2018 for a special issue of Health Policy and Technology 

For poster presentation

Has your project just started? Submit an abstract for a Poster Presentation before April 20th 2018! (Deadline extended)

After popular request we have amplified the scope of Poster Presentations at the AEGLE Conference and extended the deadline.

We therefore relaunch the invitations! Apart from EU or national funded projects which have recently started, we also invite individual organizations, companies, students and researchers to submit their ideas for NEW initiatives in the area of Big Data in Healthcare. We are honoured to announce that Milan Popovic, Programme Officer from the Unit for “Data Policy and Innovation” will be joining us to present future plans of his Unit and provide valuable feedback to all participants though the panel discussions and during the “Poster Market” networking session. Participating with a poster will also allow you to engage with other Big Data project presenters, who have advanced in their work and are open to engage in mutually beneficial collaborations. 

Your abstract should be submitted HERE which should be no longer than 300 words and follow this format:
